overLIB Core Module Command
Reference
By Robert E. Boughner & Erik Bosrup
An overLIB plug-in capability (V4.00 Alpha)

1. Introduction

This module was originally introduced to provide backward compatibility with older versions of overLIB since the core module used with the plugin capability used SPAN tags with inline style rules applied when generating the layer content for a popup. That module is no longer required since the current core module will handle TEXTSIZE, CAPTIONSIZE, and CLOSESIZE that are set to numbers in the range of 1 (the smallest) to 7 (the largest), with the default size being 3. Other size specifications are possible in this revised core module by including both a number and a unit specifier such as, for example, TEXTSIZE, '11px'.

To include this support, just include the following statement in the HEAD section of your document:

<SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript" SRC="overlib.js"></SCRIPT>

This example uses a TEXTSIZE of 2 for the body text, CAPTIONSIZE of 3 for the caption, and CLOSESIZE of 1 for the "Close" tag.
